August recipe ideas

This month I'm sharing two themes, firstly fresh, seasonal produce and also some no bake desserts and snacks for when it is too hot to turn on the oven.

I have selected a few simple recipes to make the most of summer produce whilst at its best.

Use to make quiches, side dishes or desserts. Try this apricot and almond cake, strawberry jam filled scones or cherry cheesecake with a chocolate crumb crust. Or stock your cupboards with homemade preserves to enjoy over the months ahead.
