Dress up your veggies!

I have selected a few recipes using common vegetables including carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and sprouts which may give you a change from your usual cooking methods. Some recipes including spicy cauliflower bites, mushrooms with blue cheese and quinoa, winter salad and spicy cabbage can be prepared and cooked in less than half an hour making them perfect for busy days.

Hasselback carrots

These hasselback style carrots are roast with honey and fresh rosemary and make an attractive vegetable side dish.

Spicy cabbage

White cabbage is seasoned and cooked with Chinese five spice powder to create this quick and easy side dish.

Winter salad

This colourful salad is made using seasonal ingredients including orange and pomegranate and is simple to prepare.

Spicy cauliflower

These spicy cauliflower bites are roast with Cajun seasoning and can be prepared in minutes.

Roast sprouts with pomegranate

This is a tasty and colourful way to enjoy these green leafy vegetables.

Mushrooms with blue cheese and quinoa

This quick and easy mushroom dish is packed with flavour and is elegant enough to serve to guests.
