Christmas treats and party bites

Indulge in a little holiday magic with one (or more ๐Ÿ™‚) of these homemade Christmas treats.

Firstly, if you haven't already seen my latest posts, cranberry, apple and mincemeat strudel and crumble topped mince pies, you may want to take a look and add to your Christmas baking shortlist.

Christmas treats

Nothing beats homemade treats over Christmas. From melt-in-your-mouth fudge to silky chocolate banana truffles or chocolate dates to chocolate salami these handmade treats are just the thing to indulge in over the holiday period and are also perfect as homemade food gifts.

โ€‹Chocolate datesโ€‹

Simply fill dates with crystallised ginger, coat with chocolate and decorate. These are the most heavenly treat ever!

Party bites

Add colour, crunch and flavour to your Christmas table. I have selected a few ideas for vegetarian party platters including quinoa stuffed peppers, tomato and olive bruschetta, tear and share rolls, mini focaccia, individual veggie quiches, vegetable samosas and more.

โ€‹Stuffed mushroomsโ€‹

These mushrooms are topped with Stilton for a flavourful party bite.

โ€‹Quinoa stuffed peppersโ€‹

This colourful dish is always a winner with vegetarians and flexitarians.

โ€‹Tear and share rollsโ€‹

These rosemary and olive bread rolls are perfect for sharing and are freezer friendly.

โ€‹Vegetable samosasโ€‹

Another tasty bite, these samosas have a lightly spiced vegetable filling wrapped in crispy filo pastry.

I will be back in January with more recipe ideas.
